David Zalubowski David Zalubowski
TODAY A LOT of Taylor Swift fans are celebrating. Taylor Swift $1 party anyone?
However, it’s not just fans who are happy with the outcome of her civil case, but anyone who has ever found themselves outraged at the injustice that victims of sexual assault face very often.
People were rooting for Taylor from the beginning for standing up for herself and speaking out for anyone who has ever been touched without their consent.
Fans were also equally impressed with her acknowledgement of the privilege she has to stand up so boldly and have the financial means to do so.

Her personal statement after the trial said:
She was reportedly very gracious to the jurors who helped her prove that she was not responsible for Mueller’s loss of earnings.
Fans recognised her stance was consistent with the message she has been sending them for years.

She may not have benefited from this financially, but it will help other women in the future.
But while you’re celebrating Taylor, don’t spend all of that $1 in one place.
